THE best view in all of Madrid. The Terraza y Sky Bar at the Hotel Riu in Plaza España has an unencumbered 360 degree view of the Madrid skyline. This rooftop is one of the tallest buildings in the area and therefore lays claim to this spectacular view.
A popular photo opportunity is the glass bottomed bridge that connects two of the property's buildings. Catch the perfect insta-worthy picture just as the sun is setting.

One of the places to be in Madrid, the rooftop at Picalagartos offers panoramic views of the Gran Via neighborhood. Located in the NH Hotel Gran Via, the sky bar is accessible via the ninth floor restaurant. The Sky Bar is split into different ambiances allowing you to meander among different experiences.
Food offerings are Mediterranean with a twist with a menu designed by chef Manuel Berganza. If the sky bar is full, head on down to the indoor Bar, which still offers stunning views of Gran Via.

Situated in the stylish boutique hotel, The Principal Madrid, La Terraza offers the best views of Gran Via. While not as popular as some nearby rooftops, this locale is where true Madrileños go. Also on display is a close-up view of the Metropolis Building, the Beaux-Arts landmark that marks the iconic shopping district of Gran Via.
To get to the rooftop bar, one must alight a small and tiny elevator to the top of The Principal Madrid Hotel. Decor is reminiscent of an intimate luxury townhouse and is immediately inviting as a place to relax and unwind after a long day of shopping.

Located atop the historic Palacio de Cibeles, Terraza Cibeles has great views of the city and good craft cocktails. Try to reserve a table by the terrace edge for the best views over the Plaza de Cibeles and its fountain.
This spot gets quite busy especially during sunset hours, so it’s best to make reservations in advance. Be advised that table reservations come with a minimum spend of €50.00 per person, but this can be spent on both food and drinks.
